The Story AND Inspiration behind Dalli
I grew up in a home where my mother always had the answer to every ailment. She knew which natural remedies to use to cure coughs, aches and pains, and, she made her own miracle cream.
Whenever any one of us had a skin problem, the miracle cream would come out, and it was something of a wonder cream as it always cured the problem.
My mother, Dallie van der Merwe, is the source of inspiration behind the Dalli Skin Care Range.
She was a graceful and elegant woman, with exquisite features. In addition she had tremendous strength of character and believed in adopting a healthy lifestyle long before it became the “in thing”.
In her endeavour to live a natural lifestyle, she started making a face cream that contained only a few natural plant oils and extracts, which were combined with Lanolin.
She was an anchor and an unwavering support throughout the ups and downs in my life, and has been an critical influence in shaping the person I am today.
Her magical “recipe” has been passed down to me, and in honour of my mother, my heroine, I have started this skin care range, using only natural products. I have used the name “Dalli” in memory of her.
She passed away in 2013 but her legacy will persist for future generations in the form of the Dalli Skin Care Range.
